Meet the Art Teacher
Hi! I'm Ms. Stonehill.
I have been an artist for my whole life- from painting and drawing to collage and ceramics, my favorite thing to do is experiment and create in the art studio.
I believe that art is meant to be fun, playful, and expressive. Art can help us process and express emotions, explore our identity, and make connections with the world around us.
I grew up just outside of Boston, Massachusetts and have always loved all things art. I am a painter but also love many different art materials, like clay, gel crayons, ink, and more. I love going to the lake (or ANY beach!), walking with my dog, and cooking with friends.
I earned a degree in Fine Art from Columbia College Chicago and my Master of Arts in Teaching from Maine College of Art and Design. I am so excited to grow an empowering visual art program with the Graham students, families, and community. This website should help share a bit about how Graham artists will learn and work, and if you have any questions at all I am always available and happy to connect.
